Movement Academy acknowledges that Purposeful PLAY summer camps are taking place on the ancestral and traditional territories of the first peoples of the Treaty 6 region. In the spirit of truth in relationship we want to honour and acknowledge ‘nehiyawaskiy ᓀᐦᐃᔭᐊᐧᐢᑭ’ as the traditional lands and oral practices of the Cree, Blackfoot Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux as well as the Métis Settlements of Buffalo Lake, Kikino, East Prairie, Elizabeth, Gift Lake and Peavine.
The Edmonton area is home to the Paul First Nation, Enoch Cree Nation (meskoa), Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation and Alexander Cree Nation.
$300.00 / Camper (child) CDN - 5 day camp $250.00 / Camper (child) CDN - 4 day camp
Lunch is not included (please bring bagged lunch)
Each Camper will receive a snap-back baseball cap and water bottle as part of their registration package
Weather permitting the camp will be connected to nature for a good portion of the day, please dress appropriately for the season and daily weather forecasts
Participation form waivers will be provided and will need to be completed and signed at DAY1 check-in
COVID-19 Healthy Check list will be provided prior to camp. It is expected that each Camper should check for symptoms daily prior to arriving at camp and/or should stay home for 10 days from the last day of exposure and monitor symptoms if they feel unwell
